This is a list of my various
characters from the various things I do. Sometimes it's useful to have
these things, and it can help those of you who feel confused about
something. Plus, they're fun to read.
THE DRAKEN CHRONICLES
Ragnarok is the group goof. He was the first one of the drakens to be Awakened by Pike, but he hasn't let that go to his head. He's been friends with Amber since way before they were actually awakened, and that's stayed true to this day. More often than not, his first response to something will be some sort of wisecrack. He's a foster uncle to Keera and Terra, and would do just about anything to help them.
Ragnarok's whole body is bright red, and his wingsails are a slightly pinker red. An odd exception is a black three-mountain birthmark that curves around his left eye. He's average size, about 8' from nose to tail and hip-height at the shoulder. He has a seven-spike crest that curves downwards.
Amber
Amber is the calm one of the group. She was the second of the Awakened drakens, and actually came up with the idea to Awaken the rest. She has a calm demeaner which has helped on many occasions. She doesn't panic in a crisis, and keeps a cool head. She's been friends with Ragnarok since before they were awakened, and it still proves true. Somehow, she manages to tolerate his sense of humor with a smile.
Amber is a warm brown, with a white underbelly. Her wingsails are white too. She's smaller than the norm, and Ragnarok has a few inches height on her. However, she has an abnormally long tail, so she's about as long. She has a nine-point crest that doesn't curve.
Sabre
Sabre is the most serious draken of the group. He was one of the first drakens to be Awakened after Amber, and, unlike the rest, decided that he wanted to stay and help Ragnarok, Amber, and Pike Awaken the rest. He's the one who winds up rolling his eyes and following Ragnarok and the twins after they run off somewhere. Fortunately, he does have a sense of humor about these things, and so he keeps hanging around just in case.
Sabre is mainly black, but he has red markings on his eyes, his neck, his tail, and near his feet. These markings are what inspired Pike to name him Sabre. His wingsails are also red, and he's about as big as Ragnarok. He has a three-spike crest, with the middle spike starting at the top of his head and curving down, and the other two starting at the bottom and curving up.
Keera and Terra
Keera and Terra were the first two drakens to be born after the drakens were Awakened. In fact, it was about a day after their mother was Awakened, since she was pregnant with them at the time. They are conjoined twins, bonded together below the neck, effectively making them two headed. Keera is the right half, while Terra is the left. Thanks to the time portals, Sabre, Raganrok, and Amber went to the future where the twins were about as old as they were, and the twins came with. They really look up to their Uncle Ragnarok, and utterly adore him. At one point in the past, Keera's leg got hurt badly enough that she couldn't walk on it, and Dash helped her get better, thus earning their eternal gratitude and good favor.
The twins are a light green in coloration, with yellow-green wingsails. They both have a single-spike crest that curves up at the tip, and are average size.
Dash
Dash is even more of a joker than Ragnarok. He wears a grin more often than not, and is nowhere near lacking in wit. He's always willing to help someone in need. He originally came from the past, which was strangely before Pike Awakened the drakens. He and a whole village full of drakens were intelligent, and told of being so since before they could remember. When the draken group from the future came, he helped an injured Keera to heal, forever winning her, as well as her sister's, adoration. When the group left Dash's village, Dash decided to come with them. However, in an encounter with a human who was turning innocent animals into monsters, he almost became a casualty himself. His body was transformed, but Ragnarok managed to stop the transformation before his mind could be touched. He has the body shape of a human, but is otherwise draken.
Dash is entirely white, including his wingsails. He is bipedal, but still has wings and a tail. In general, he prefers to wear clothes resembling the first set he got, a black t-shirt and loose red pants. Apart from the nostalgia, they also are fairly unrestrictive of movement, and he just likes the colors. He has a single-spike crest, which curves downward. Also, he has a raindrop-shaped fin at the end of his tail, something completely unique among drakens.
Pike
Pike, unlike most of the cast, is a human. He was originally a scientist, but a dispute with the head scientists of the time caused him to leave civilization temporarily to test an invention. He decided to try it on the drakens, and he chose Ragnarok to test it on first. It was a complete success, granting an animal intelligence and speech. After bringing Ragnarok back, but still being shunned by the scientific community, he left civilization again and devoted his life to the drakens. He Awakened them all, and stayed to teach them ways that their lives could be made better. He is a very wise and friendly person.
Pike is about 5' 9" tall and of normal build. In general, he likes to wear the white coat of his previous profession and blue jeans, and tries to keep his brown hair relatively short.
Seren
Seren is Keera and Terra's mother. She is a calm sort, much like Amber. At the time of her Awakening, she had been heavily pregnant with the twins. Shortly afterward, she gave birth to them. She is a tolerant mother, as one would have to be with children like hers, and is good friends with Pike.
Seren is light green with yellow-green wingsails, just like her daughters, and also has a single-spike crest that curves upward.
