This is a scene from late in Book VI, during the battle with the Dark One. He launches a fireball into the gathered drakens, and Teyaka realizes that it's aimed at a small group of chicks. She runs over and blocks the shot, but gets blasted into the air herself, and badly burned.
I wanted to try the same style as with the milotic pic, and I put everything I had into this one. It took a long time to do, and was one of the most complex ones I've done. Hehe, when I finished, it had 136 separate layers in this thing.
